And knowing that makes me the coolest. At least from my three year old brother's perspective. Actually I was running errands with our mom and errands are pretty boring to a three year old. Somehow he doesn't get the same satisfaction out of saving 15 cents on bananas as we do. He doesn't find this to be a thrilling experience! So he and I went next door to the pet store.
He suddenly got so quiet! I'm not sure we had ever taken him into a pet store before. He has been around out pets. Two cats and a dog. And been around farm animals. But never a pet store. He didn't much are for the cats, ferrets, and guinea pigs and such. He kinda seemed bored and wasn't understanding why we were there. Until of course we got to the frogs, and snakes, and fish! He was in awe! It was the cutest thing ever! Just look!
He hardly spoke a word but just stared s if this was the coolest place he had ever been in his life! He didn't want to leave! It took a lot of negotiating to get him out of there! But the trip was clearly a success! Maybe when he's older I can be the cool big sister and show up with a pet snake or lizard or something and then leave :) hehe!
Do I take advantage of being 15 years older than my brother and in the perfect position to spoil him? Of course!
